About
I am a recent graduate of the University of Calgary and will be pursuing my Master's degree in 2027. My experience with tutoring thus far has been in English and Math, with both younger and older students (Grade One-Grade Ten). However, I am adept at and enjoy Chemistry as well and would be excited to add this to my teaching profile. Being a student myself allows me to empathize with test anxiety and struggles with confidence that can have a significant impact on academic performance. I would say my strengths as a tutor include patience, listening, the ability to adapt to a student's learning style, and a desire to see improvement in both academic performance and confidence in academic ability. Not only do I measure my own success as a tutor based on these improvements, but also on my students' comfort in asking questions to further their learning.
